Working from home gives you freedom, and it quietly removes structure you may not have noticed you relied on. The commute that separated work from home is gone. So are the hallway conversations that kept you connected.

Leading well from a home office takes a different set of habits. Coaching helps you build them, so you can do your best work and still have a life outside the laptop.

Challenges
What you are up against

The challenges

Blurred lines

Work spills into evenings, weekends and the kitchen table.

Leading through a screen

Building trust, reading the room and giving feedback over video and chat.

Staying visible

Making sure your work and ideas are seen when you are not in the room.

Isolation

Fewer natural moments to connect, vent or get a fresh perspective.

How coaching helps

Where we focus

Coaching is not advice from the sidelines. I ask the questions that help you see your situation clearly, then we turn what you find into action. Here is where my work with clients like you often goes.

  • Days with edges. Design a workday with a clear start, a clear stop and room to think.
  • Clear remote communication. Say what you mean in writing and on video, and cut down on misunderstandings.
  • Trust at a distance. Build connection and accountability with a team you rarely see in person.
  • Visibility and influence. Make sure your contributions are noticed and your voice carries.
  • Energy and health. Protect the habits that keep you well when home and work share the same walls.
Process
How it works

Working together

1

30 minute consultation

We get to know each other and decide together whether we are the right fit.

2

Agreements

We sign a simple agreement that sets out how we work, what to expect and payment.

3

Background

You fill out a short form about where you are now and what you want from coaching.

4

Assessments

If you have DiSC or 360 results, we review them together. I can also run these assessments for you.

5

Regular sessions

We meet on Zoom for 45 to 60 minutes. I suggest two sessions a month, but the rhythm is up to you.

6

Check-ins and iteration

After sessions you get follow-up questions, observations and learning ideas. We revisit progress and adjust as you grow.

Most engagements run four to six months and evolve with your needs. I follow the standards of the International Coaching Federation. All coaching happens over Zoom, so it fits naturally into a remote workday.

About

Why Craig

I live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and coach every client remotely, so I practice what we work on together. I am also a certified yoga instructor, and I pay attention to health alongside performance because the two are connected.

I coached HHS executives during Hurricane Helene, so I know how much steady, clear leadership matters when a team is spread out and under pressure. I am an ICF-certified coach at the ACC level, trained through Coaching 4 Today and working toward my PCC.
