You keep careers moving. On any given day you are a strategist, a negotiator, a counselor and the person who answers the phone at 1 a.m. when something goes sideways on the road.

I spent years on the artist side of that relationship as a founding member of the band Everything. I know how much rides on the people behind the artist, and how rarely anyone asks how they are doing.

Challenges
What you are up against

The challenges

Always on

Tours, releases and time zones mean the phone never goes quiet. Rest starts to feel like a risk.

Many voices, one you

Artists, labels, promoters and partners all need something from you, and their goals do not always line up.

Hard conversations

Telling an artist no, renegotiating a deal or parting ways takes clarity and care.

Growing past yourself

Moving from doing everything yourself to building a team and roster that can run without you.

How coaching helps

Where we focus

Coaching is not advice from the sidelines. I ask the questions that help you see your situation clearly, then we turn what you find into action. Here is where my work with clients like you often goes.

  • Your own path. Get clear on what you want for your career, not only your clients' careers.
  • Boundaries that hold. Protect your time and energy without letting the people who count on you down.
  • Ready for the big talks. Prepare for high-stakes conversations so you walk in calm and walk out with what you need.
  • Steady decisions. Make choices about roster, partners and growth from a grounded place, not from the latest emergency.
  • A team that works. Lead your staff and collaborators with clear communication and less friction.
Process
How it works

Working together

1

30 minute consultation

We get to know each other and decide together whether we are the right fit.

2

Agreements

We sign a simple agreement that sets out how we work, what to expect and payment.

3

Background

You fill out a short form about where you are now and what you want from coaching.

4

Assessments

If you have DiSC or 360 results, we review them together. I can also run these assessments for you.

5

Regular sessions

We meet on Zoom for 45 to 60 minutes. I suggest two sessions a month, but the rhythm is up to you.

6

Check-ins and iteration

After sessions you get follow-up questions, observations and learning ideas. We revisit progress and adjust as you grow.

Most engagements run four to six months and evolve with your needs. I follow the standards of the International Coaching Federation. We can schedule sessions around tour dates and release cycles.
