GREATER HEALTH & PROSPERITY

I'm an ICF ACC certified Leadership Coach dedicated to helping my clients transform into greater health and prosperity. I completed my coach training through Coaching 4 Today, and I'm now working toward my PCC credential. I have coached leaders in the Department of Defense, and during Hurricane Helene I coached executives at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as they led their teams through the response. I also served as Crisis PR Director for Carolina Ranch while it experienced the largest active forest fire in North Carolina. I have spent the last decade as a consultant and strategist in the digital marketing space with leaders in government, education, renewable energy, media, music and mental wellness.

FINDING INNOVATIVE POSSIBILITIES

I take a coaching-forward, technology-agnostic approach to finding solutions, and I bring an agile mindset to finding innovative possibilities with the people I work with. My clients include music managers and agents, talent and booking agency owners, film, TV and media directors, entrepreneurs, remote leaders and other creatives, and I understand their world because I've lived in it. I have a long arc in the media industry, spending 12 years building an independent music business and writing songs for EMI Music publishing, and I'm a founding member of the band Everything ("Hooch"). My music is currently streaming in over 100 countries, and my media clients have included Disney, ESPN, ABC, Sony, NFL, CBS and Warner Bros., amongst many others. I spoke on Music and Leadership at ICF Converge in San Diego in 2025 and in Paris in 2026, and I'm building Leading with Music with my business partner and mentor, Mark House of empoweringLEADERS.

Background & Family

I graduated from JMU with a Leadership and Innovation MBA, and I also served as a Project Manager for the University on a Department of Energy initiative called “25x25” centered around renewable energy in the agricultural sector. A Certified Yoga Instructor, I'm also trained in Trauma Informed Yoga and certified in Yoga for 12 Step Recovery, and that practice shapes how I hold space for the leaders I coach.

A native of the Washington DC area, I currently live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my wife, Tricia, and our daughter, Vera. The sound, the dunes and the open sky here are a big part of how I stay grounded.
